Mahindra 's entry in the WorldSkills competition for "Automobile Technology stream" has won the Medallion of Excellence in the world Finals in Germany - Best - ever show by an Indian entry in this stream!
It 's a proud moment for Mahindra and India as
Mohd. Salman Abdul Hafiz from Unnati Motors - AD dealer in Nagpur has won the Medallion of excellence beating participants from countries like Australia, South Africa, Korea, Austria, Hungary among others.
WorldSkills competition is dubbed as the Olympics of Skills competition and Salman after winning the gold medal in the country level beating participants from all other Indian OEMs was the sole entry in this stream from India.
His skills were put to test by the global Jury through a rigorous 7 module test held last week in Germany.
He was one of the 24 participants from 24 countries and is one of the 8 participants to get the Medallion of Excellence and another 4 toppers got Gold Medal.
Salman's show is the best- ever show by an Indian entry in the world Skills in this stream so far.
Mahindra Institute of Learning Excellence (MILE) played a crucial role in grooming and training Salman on complex automotive repair technologies and other Global OEMs in India like Toyota, BMW, VW, Mercedes Benz, JLR & Bosch also assisted in his training and preparation.
This achievement is a fruitful culmination of our highly successful internal dealer skill contest -
"Ustadon ka Ustad" & "chote Ustad" which has seen 11 editions so far helping us to nurture talent at various level. This Global recognition will further motivate MILE team to take the skill competition to next level and produce more such Global level talents!
